Analysis of online hate speech against women

The Catalan Audiovisual Council has elaborated a report entitled Analysis of online hate speech against women. The report addresses online content that could incite violence against women in its many forms (physical, psychological and sexual) and spheres (private and public), or that treats it as a justified practice. In conjunction with the Department of Presidency of the Catalan Government, the CAC has also notified the judicial authorities about this content as well as the YouTube video platform and requested that the videos analysed be immediately taken down.
