Regulators' Responses to the Public Consultation on the Independence of the Audiovisual Regulatory Bodies
The Public Consultation on the Independence of the Audiovisual Regulatory Bodies launched by the European Commission in March 2013 closed at the end of June 2013. The purpose of the consultation was to collect views on the issue of independence of regulatory bodies competent for audiovisual media services and on options for strengthening their independence, including a possible revision of Article 30 of the Directive on Audiovisual Media Services (AVMSD).
