In order to have a better insight into the projects and expectations of the French market stakeholders and with the aim to possibly launch a call for applications for the service providers, the French CSA has just launched a public consultation on the broadcasting of digital terrestrial radio in L band.
The frequency band called L band (1452-1492 MHz) is mainly allocated, in France and Europe, to the terrestrial broadcasting and satellite broadcasting services.
The answers to the public consultation have to be sent to the CSA before April, 22nd, by mail: rnt@csa.fr. An overview of the answers to the consultation will be made public.
