Regulators' Responses to the HLG Report on Media Freedom and Pluralism

The Public Consultation on the Independent Report from the High level Group (HLG) on Media Freedom and Pluralism launched by the European Commission in March closed at the end of June 2013. The purpose of this consultation was to collect views and opinions on the Report and on any aspects of media freedom and pluralism in Europe. The Commission's objective with this consultation was to gather broad feedback on the recommendations presented by the High-Level Group in order to allow for an open debate on media freedom and pluralism within the European Union.

Seven broadcasting regulatory authorities, all members of EPRA, submitted a response to the consultation:
