EPRA convenes in Ohrid for its 33rd meeting

The 33rd meeting of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA) itook place in Ohrid, on 25 to 27 May 2011 at the invitation of the Broadcasting Council of the Republic of Macedonia.

On this occasion over 130 delegates from 48 European regulatory authorities met to discuss topical issues pertaining to media regulation.

The following issues featured on the agenda of the meeting:

• Content Regulation and new Media: Exploring Regulatory Boundaries between Traditional and New Media
• Product Placement
• Radio in the Digital Environment
• EU spectrum policy/Digital Dividend
• Issues of Independence and Governance of Regulatory Authorities
