OFCOM-Switzerland: Susanne Marxer appointed new head of Media division

On 1 October 2020, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Simonetta Sommaruga, appointed Susanne Marxer as Deputy Director and Head of the Media Division of the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM).

• The 56-year-old lawyer will take up her new duties as of 1 November 2020.

• She has worked for OFCOM since 1999 and has been co-head of the Media Law section since 2007.

• She succeeds Bernard Maissen who took over as Head of OFCOM on 1 July 2020.
