EU Kids Online publishes its recommendations for policy regarding children’s use of the Internet in Europe

The EU Kids Online, a thematic research network funded under the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme has published in early September a Report on Final recommendations for policy. The report, based on the previous one from 2011, provides research-based recommendations and guidance advising how to make the Internet a better and safer place for children.

The main aim of the EU Kids Online project is to inform national and European policy stakeholders including governments, media, industry, policymakers and educators in relation to children’s use of the Internet in Europe. Since 2006, the EU Kids Online has monitored children’s use of the Internet in Europe, making available its studies through a searchable database on the project’s website.
