The regulator has undergone a renewal process and three new members out of a total of five took office on 27 April. The Board is composed of five members, three of which are elected by the National Assembly and two are appointed by the President.

The new Board of CEM is thus composed as follows:

  • Ms. Maria Stoyanova, Chairwoman
  • Ms. Betina Zhoteva (appointed by the President)
  • Ms. Rozita Elenova (elected by the Parliament)
  • Ms. Sofia Vladimitorva (elected by the Parliament)
  • Mr. Ivo Atanasov (member since 2013)

An updated version of the Regulator’s Profile of the Council for Electronic Media incorporating the recent changes is now available in English on the EPRA website.

"Regulator's Profiles" are based on a template and provide basic information on the structure, composition, remit and powers of regulatory authority’s member of the EPRA.
